What we treat

Kerrin has a particular interest in headaches and neck pain, back pain, shoulders and knees, hips, feet and walking, and vertigo and dizziness, as well as rehabilitation and general fitness.

Sports injuries

Sprains, strains and overuse injuries, and getting back to your sport.

Headaches, vertigo and dizziness

Headaches that start in the neck, and dizziness or vertigo, assessed and treated hands-on.

Rehabilitation after injury or illness

Getting strength, movement and confidence back after an injury, an illness or an operation.

Back and neck pain

Low back pain, neck pain and stiffness, from a sudden twinge to pain that has hung around for years.

Shoulder and knee pain

Painful, stiff or weak shoulders and knees, and getting them working again.

Dry needling

Fine needles in tight or painful muscles, as part of a treatment plan.

Also: hip and buttock pain, feet, ankles and walking, general fitness and functional assessments, stroke rehabilitation and children (paediatric physiotherapy).

No referral needed. You don't need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist, unless you're a DVA patient or claiming through a motor vehicle accident insurer. The clinic doesn't treat workers' compensation (WorkCover) claims.

Your physiotherapist

Meet Kerrin

Kerrin was born and bred on the Tablelands. He holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University, and a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a degree in Psychological Science from Griffith University.

He worked at the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane and at Physique Health on Mount Tamborine before coming home to start Yungaburra Physio, and he spends many hours with local sporting clubs as a sports trainer and physiotherapist.
