About Kerrin
A Tablelands physio, back home
Kerrin Blakeney is the owner and principal physiotherapist at Yungaburra Physio.

Kerrin was born and bred on the Tablelands. Before starting Yungaburra Physio, he worked hard to earn a Doctor of Physiotherapy (Bond University), a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Griffith University) and a degree in Psychological Science (Griffith University).
He worked extensively at the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane, and at Physique Health on beautiful Mount Tamborine. He has spent, and continues to spend, many hours with local sporting clubs as a sports trainer and physiotherapist.
Kerrin travelled north with a vision of starting his own physiotherapy practice, one that strives to deliver personal, hands-on and effective physical treatment.
How Kerrin works
Kerrin has a particular interest in headaches and neck pain, shoulder, knee and back pain, hip and buttock pain, feet and gait problems, vertigo and dizziness, disease and injury rehabilitation, and general fitness. For headaches that start in the neck he has trained in the Watson Headache Approach, completing the Watson Headache Institute's Foundation, Consolidation and Certification courses.
Every appointment is one on one. He'll listen, assess, explain what he finds in plain words, and agree a plan with you: hands-on treatment in the clinic, and exercises and advice to keep you moving between visits.
